Clinical Psychology

Dr. Yuna Seong offers evidence-based, goal-oriented therapy to help children and adolescents build emotional resilience, strengthen coping skills, and improve day-to-day functioning. Sessions focus on practical skill development, drawing from CBT, DBT, and executive-function approaches, to reduce distress, enhance confidence, and support meaningful progress at home, school, and beyond.

Therapeutic Modalities

My therapeutic approach integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help clients build practical coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and increase psychological flexibility. She is experienced with exposure response prevention (ERP), the gold standard, first-line intervention for OCD.

I am deeply committed to trauma-informed and culturally responsive care, ensuring that treatment is validating, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s lived experience and identity.

Sessions focus on real-world progress. The goal is supporting clients in reducing distress, improving functioning, and feeling more capable and confident in their daily lives.
